Robyn Lundy, Executive Director of the Tikkun Community (www.tikkun.org) will speak on "A Path for Healing and Peace in the Middle East: the Palestinian / Israeli Conflict" at All Saints Episcopal Church, 43-12 46th Street, Sunnyside. The church is one block north of Queens Boulevard; take the 7 train to the 46th Street/Bliss Street Station – walk one block north, down the slope.

 

December 2004

Sunday, December 5, 6-7 a.m.

The Rev. Charles Brewster, moderator of the Presbytery of New York City and pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Forest Hills, will be interviewed on The Interfaith Connection, Sunday morning, December 5, from 6 to 7 a.m. on WKTU, 103.5 FM. He will address the actions of the Presbyterian Church's General Assembly which have drawn criticism from the Jewish Community and which appear to be related to the recent terrorist threat made nationally against Presbyterian Church in an anonymous letter posted from Queens. The Rev. Reuben Gums is host of The Interfaith Connection for Tri-State Media Ministry.

Highlights of the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah will be performed at Our Lady Queens of Martyrs Church, Queens Boulevard and Ascan Avenue, Forest Hills, by the Church's Sacred Music Society and the Oratorio Society of Queens under the direction of Maestro David Close.
