Cathy O'Sullivan
Catherine O’Sullivan is actively involved in leadership capacities at both P.S. 113 and I.S. 119 in Queens. She serves as PTA President at both schools and had held other executive board positions prior to her election as president. Since 1995, she has worked with children outside the classroom as a Learning Leader volunteer.
A member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Glendale, she has taught Faith Formation for the past 15 years, preparing second graders to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. She currently teaches religious education to autistic students and other special education students in preparation for all Sacraments.
Catherine is in charge of the Sacred Heart Girl Scout Program. She organizes all girl scouts activities, the Scout mass at Sacred Heart Church, and serves as a leader of Cadettes and the Senior Girl Scout troop.
She is Service Unit Manager for Southwest Queens and has been recognized with awards from the Girl Scout Council, including the Skyline Award and the Outstanding Volunteer Award.
She is married to James O’Sullivan for 23 years. They have two daughters, Patricia and Kristen.
