In 1977, her scouting experience started with her daughter, LuAnn, in Girl Scouts who went all the way to receive her Gold Award. In the meantime, she needed something for the three boys to do. St. Luke’s also had Cub & Boy Scouts programs, where they met with Bob and Magaly Lohnes of Pack and Troop 235, who also had a son and daughter in scouts. Her boys, Paul, Ken and Gino were very interested in joining. Toni started out by being the sewing mom. She was sewing up religious awards and red vests. Her husband Paul was the driver and did anything else that had to be done. Then her youngest daughter, Jennifer, joined Girl Scouts and she went all the way to receive her Silver Award. She also was Co-Leader for her daughter’s troop. She always was being a great helper in Girl Scouts. Then Toni got active with the Pack. Toni served as a Den Leader, Den Leader Coach, Asst. She also earned the awards for those positions. She also counseled Parvui Dei (Catholic Religious Award) to the Cub Scouts. Currently, Toni is very active with her Troop as Treasurer. She also goes camping which includes summer camp at Ten Mile River. She also organizes Court of Honors for Eagle scouts.

Besides Scouting, Toni was active at St. Luke’s for the past 16 years as a C.C.D. teacher for the 6 grade.
