Every congregation sponsors events throughout the year. Some are designed to raise funds for the church’s ministry. Others, to bring people together for social and education purposes.

Whatever the purpose or type of event, it is important that it succeed. You want people to have an enjoyable experience and look forward to returning to your church in the future.

This seminar will provide information to enable you better to plan and organize your event to achieve its goals.

Seminar participants will experience the opportunity to learn through role playing in the various aspects of the creation and presentation of your Blessed Events.

 

Who Should Attend . . . Pastors, Committee Chairs, and other Church Leaders who have responsibility for planning and producing special fund raising events or other special programs in the life of the local church. This Seminar will help to make your church events more successful.

Costs . . . Registration for the conference is $15. Additional persons registering together from the same congregation are only $10 each. You may register by March 1 online or by sending the Registration form with the appropriate fee to the Queens Federation of Churches, 86-17 105th Street, Richmond Hill, NY 11418-1597. Registration opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The Seminar begins at 9:30 a.m.

Our Leadership . . . The Rev. Charles Gilmore and Wolfgang Busch have teamed up to help churches organize and present their fund raising and other events for increase effectiveness. Rev. Charles Gilmore, Jr., M. Div., has 40 years of experience as pastor, chaplain, counselor, and caseworker.Wolfgang Busch has 25 years experience as an event planner, community grass-root organizer, artistic and social activist for community empowerment, educator, lecturer, TV producer..
