Pastoral Care Awareness Workshops

. Have you ever been confronted by a pastoral emergency you didn’t know how to deal with?

. Have you ever had a parishioner who expressed an urgent need to see you, but left you with a feeling that they didn’t get what they wanted?

. Have you ever had a committee meeting that got off track and you didn’t see it coming?

. Ministry can be both a profoundly rewarding and an isolating vocation.

. Come join colleagues for an opportunity to explore different aspects of pastoral ministry and gain insight and feedback in a supportive environment. Find a new perspective on your ministry.

The Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute is proud to announce a new series of workshops designed to enhance your pastoral care skills. Led by experienced clergy with special training in pastoral care, the workshops will introduce clergy and lay leaders to basic pastoral care skills. Each workshop will introduce a different pastoral care topic with times for seminar presentations, group discussion and questions and answers.
