You have available to you here a web page for each of over 900 Christian congregations worshiping in the Borough of Queens!

We celebrate the fact that Queens has the most ethnically diverse population in all of God's Creation. It is the crossroads where all of God's children not only meet, but live and work and play and pray.

Over 200 congregations of other Faiths — Buddhist, Hindu, Islam, Jewish, Sikh, and others — are also included, and more will be added. Our goal is to have a complete listing of all religious congregations worshiping in the Borough of Queens.

The language and times of worship services, the size of the congregation, and the special ministries offered are included on the individual web page for the congregation, as well as basic information such as address, pastor, denomination, and telephone. At the click of a button you will have an interactive Google map showing you the location of the congregation and enabling you to obtain travel directions from anywhere in the U.S.

This online Directory of Queens Congregations will be updated and published to the Web during the first week of each month from the database that the Queens Federation of Churches maintains. As we are able to gather the information, we will include the local congregation's website (with a link, of course), as well as photographs of the congregation, its pastor and people. Please help us by providing updates of information and let us know of any omissions.

The Alphabetic listing is just that — each congregation is listed in name order, and one click of your mouse will pop up the full page profile of that congregation.

Queens is divided by the City of New York into 14 Community Districts which serve as the basis of the City's delivery of most municipal services such as police, sanitation and zoning review. We have identified each of the congregations by the district in which it is physically located (although mailing addresses may, occasionally, be outside of that district).

There is a listing by Denomination and Faith, which will identify congregations by the Denominational/Faith grouping (each of which may include more than one single denomination, for example there are over a dozen different Baptist denominations represented in Queens).

The Languages of Worship index provides access to non-English languages spoken as the principal language of at least one of the worship services of the referenced congregation.

Over 2,300 Special Ministries have been reported to us as being offered by congregations in Queens. We have organized these on the basis of the age group to which they are principally focused — Pre-Schoolers, Children & Youth, Adults & Families, and Senior Citizens. Some 70 individual ministry categories are arranged within these four age groups, and you will find for each category the congregations which offer that ministry. This listings of congregations are displayed by Community District to facilitate identification of special ministries available within local communities.

Finally, there is a listing of all Clergy serving in these congregations in Queens. Clicking on the name of the person will bring you to the web page of the congregation to which he or she is related. Occasionally a name will be listed more than once, indicating that person serves multiple congregations. Clicking on each repetition of the name will lead you to the web page of each of the congregations served.

The link for Denominational Offices will take you to a listing of the regional judicatories having responsibility for Queens and the Metropolitan Area for each of the respective Christian Communions and other Faith groups.

If your Congregation worships in the Borough of Queens, City of New York and is not listed in this online Directory, please use this Form to begin the process to register a congregation or to report new/additional clergy. Please note that "Registration" is not the same as "Membership" in the Queens Federation of Churches. Additional information will be requested to verify and complete the registration process.
